geschrieben von red            am 22.05. um 06:15:59 - als Antwort auf: Re: Boys And Girls von Tommy ati think what your teacher might mean is that while guys and girls may be at the same ability, males have a greater potential...that is that if they can develop the same flexibility and technique as girls, and keep their strength and force, then they can be better, because their bodies are built for more physical things. unfortunately for us male dancers though, with the strength comes limited flexibility, so we sacrifice a lot. also, i'm just bein honest here, when you watch a great male dancer, he will appear better than if you watch a girl of the same abilities, because the guys do much showier moves-- huuuuge jumps, complex fast feet, and loooots of turns; do a 'layman' the guy will probably apear more skilled because of this; in reality, you can't compare them very much, because guys and girls do (some) differnet stuff in ballet, and steps are meant differently for males and females Antworten zu diesem Beitrag:  |
