A former NYCB dancer taught at my school and set the ballet on the dancers in our dept. There is a "Jockey Dance" that is an awesome showcase for two allegro male dancers. My costume was copied from the original design they used at NYCB. It is a masculine dance to Irish music. We carried riding whips and danced in character boots instead of ballet shoes.
