There is only one,the main character,because everyone else is just a dancer. The male counterpart is called the principle dancer. Ballet started out as a MALE ONLY dance and it only recently in the past 150 years developed into a primarily a female activity. Dear Eric I kinda know how you feel. Last year was my second year at dance. I felt kinda like you because people said mean things to me because I was the shortest and because of the color my skin. It was only my second year and I was already on the dance team for my dance school. There where times when I felt like quitting but then I remebered I loved dance and thats all that mattered.
