But the rules were that boys had to dress like girls and the girls had to come as boys. Some guys pretended they were sick that day and stayed home. My two sisters and my mom helped me get fixed up with a girl's outfit. I wore a dress my sister goes to church in with girl's underwear -- panties, petticoat and even her bra. They put makeup on me and painted my nails. Mom got me a wig and I had girl's high heels and a purse to carry too. My friend Ricky came dressed in a tutu. We had to stay that way all day.
