And when it comes to the kind of blows landed in karate (and any other fighting situation) that difference is devastating. Sure, a female will bend double when recieving a blow to this area. This reflex is instinctive in both sexes, and I must admit it can be quite painful. But you cannot compare it to the agony that males seem to experience when they get hit there.Why do you think it is that all men in our classes wear protective cups, and yet none of the women ever do?You are just going to have to accept that males have an area of awkward vulnerability that us females just do not have.
