She has taught me the basics at home,but I'd love to join a real class.>Kyle My dance studio is in a small town outside of Boston Mass. It is run by a woman named Stephaine who onced danced with NYC Ballet. The whole place has only three studios and only about 40 dancers of various ages. She mainly teaches only ballet and Pointe. She has never had a boy in her Pointe class, so when I agreed to join the Pointe class, I told her of my long held wish to dress in the same pink tights and black leotard as the girls do. She said it was an "odd request" but she said it was OK. I guess that she feels that tights are tights no matter what color they are. She has no problem with it. The girls have no problem with it (they even kid me about my seams not being straight!!) and I have no problem with it. I'm happy being both in pink tights and on Pointe!!!
