There was that "Odd Couple" episode with Edward Villela where Tony Randall made his entrance in a rather bizarre ballet outfit, and got huge laughs (rather cheap, I thought, though I've always kind of admired Mr. Randall for the way he carried it off. He showed at least some love for dance in the show.) Mr. Villela was cool, but spent a lot of the show "explaining" to the audience that he was heterosexual ("Why'd you get into ballet, Richard?"
