I saw it twice-the first time, I thought I was imagining it, the second time I was an interesting mixture of aroused and unsettled (the girl looked like she was about fifteen). I found out later that the spot was pulled because of that very scene-the girl in question turned out to be TWELVE. Geech! ["L'eggs wear"] Put on your L'eggs and go!" The voice-over woman spoke of L'eggs wear socks and tights, showing a few women putting on socks, and then one woman pulling red tights over one foot and up her leg rather quickly. Unfortunately it was a very brief shot, and the next scene is about four women arm-in-arm parading down the street, most of them in boots and socks, with one of them wearing red tights. "Put on your tights and go!!" ;-)>>>~Seamless~>>>>Well, it was like this (near as I can remember): The spot was one of those that features shot after shot of kids striking poses when the camera "catches" them walking to school, picking flowers, chasing puppies, etc. Suddenly, you see a pretty young girl sitting in, I think, a bay window. She looks directly into the camera, raises one tights-covered foot over her head, resting it on the side of the window, and slides both her hands down from the ankle to about mid-thigh. The shot lasted three seconds tops, so I don't remember details (what color the tights were, for example-though I remember that they were dark, probably black or navy). The thing I remember most was the feeling I got when I found out why the spot was pulled! Eeee-yikes!-Depon-- Thanks for sharing, Depon. I can picture the whole thing! Wow, must've been incredible. I wonder what was going on in the mind of the producer of that commercial... maybe he was a tights fanatic, eh? Funny--this whole thing jogged my memory of a moment I witnessed with a friend of my sister's. Her name was Tracey, and I wasn't particularly attracted to her (she was a bit chunky), but she was a nice person anyway. Well, one day she's over at the house and my sister asks her to stay overnight. I had just walked into the room. Tracey was wearing a white blouse, a plaid skirt, and bright red tights. My eyes locked in on her legs immediately. My sister said "Oh, but you don't have any pajamas. I guess you could borrow mine." Tracey replied "That's ok, but I'll just wear my tights with a t-shirt." And she did. I had to work so consciously on hiding my excitement and not let her see me staring! Especially, and this is how you got me to remember this, when she stood there and grabbed the tights at her ankles and smoothed them up all the way to her waist.
