Dea (love her) scooped up 3 pairs: dark brown, dark purple, and this really lovely sort of grayish-blue (last pair in our size, too. She's lucky I love her!). I decide against, as the only pairs left in tall are dark heather (nice, but I've already got two pairs in that color, though not as dark) and white (same deal.) She gets them rung up, and we find out that they're actually 2.98 a pair. I was back at the rack in a flash, and at the register even faster! They guy who rang me up was supercool, by the way, and I'm sure he knew who was slipping into these babies when we got home. Get thee to Urban Outfitters! I have spoken!>>>>At an outdoor cafe (we were walking by,) I caught the eye of a shopgirl having coffe with a friend. She was wearing a denim skirt, backless shoes, and black opaques, and she was stroking her left calf. Until she caught me looking, that is. Then she smiled, stopped, and turned to her friend. Sigh.>>>>I was scanning these low racks at a CD store, and this magnificent pair of danger-sticks in SHINY PINK TIGHTS twinkles up next to me, as the girl attached to them starts to check out the upper rack next to mine. She had short black hair and was wearing a yellow minidress with pink strappy shoes. Eeeeyouch! Good thing I'm a faithful kind of guy! Probably equally as good a thing that she wouldn't have given me the time of week, let alone day...>>>>All in all, not a bad end to a all-too-lean tights-watching season!-Depon--I'm in the wrong state! Not enough action here... and when the weather is warm, the tights disappear quickly. The only good thing is that many pantyhose brands have Lycra in them, and thus a nice shine in the sun! I did manage to spot a nice leggy blonde in opaque black pantyhose at the local deli. She's standing there, shifts her weight to the right leg, slips her foot out of the left shoe, and scratches the bottom of her pantyhose clad foot. I couldn't help but stare!
