>I once broke into a dancewear store near my home. I wasn't particularly artful about it. I went to the back door and used my video store card to jimmy open the door. I was ready to run if an alarm went off but nothing happened. I was terrified. I walked in and gathered up an outfit from the racks and the tights bin. I couldn't find any ballet slippers in the dark so I took a pair of jazz shoes in my size. Now convinced that there must be some type of silent alarm, I hurriedly grabbed some dancewear catalogs and, after locking the door, ran to my car.>That's really bad, I know, but it gets worse. Gripped by guilt and this sinking feeling that I'd set myself on course for a lifetime of criminal activity, I returned to the store that same night. I jimmied the door open once again and returned everything to its original place. Driving home in my car, I couldn't decide which was worse: the initial act of theft or the subsequent return of the dancewear goods. >I've never done anything like that again but it was a quite wonderful, if slightly sickly, thrill.    --Oh, and I forgot one more thing:  the thrill of the purchase!  That nervous feeling you struggle to contain as you browse the aisles of dancewear to eventually approach the salesperson with your purchase.  What you pay for the garment is worth that experience alone.  Of course, that depends on the person... but I think you get what I mean.
