>Grrrr!  Well, first of all the waist band is reminiscent of old Danskin tights from the 70's.  They'll do the job but they're low tech.  The sizing is OK, but... when they said 70 dernier, they really meant it.  I'm a little disappointed in the opacity.  Overall, the quality is reasonable.  I guess they're ok considering the $9 price tag.>My feeling is that this company is like a retailer for high volume produced tights in Asia, re-badged for the US.  Quite a few of these third world countries are making tights using technology from the 70's, with minor upgrades here and there.  Because of the volume, a retailer probably ends up paying about $1-$2 per pair.  A $7 to $8 return on investment is not bad.  A long time ago I bought a pair of black tights from a small hosiery shop in NYC, upper west side (I think like 125th St.).  The tights were $5.  When I opened the package I was struck with an intense feeling of deja-vu.  Remember Danskin tights from the 70's?  100% nylon, with the toe seams running underneath the toes (instead of on top) about 1" from the tip of the foot?  They also had double backseams that appeared just above the thighs which ran to the waistband (used for allowing more material in the butt area) and a fuzzy 1" wide waistband with little "pips" running along the top?  They were an exact clone.  Danskin doesn't make these kinds of tights anymore.  It's like this manufacturer bought the old Danskin machinery and started making them.>Anyway, the upshot of all this:  Anastasia's Dance Tights are OK.  Not great, IMHO.  If you're looking for a medium weight pair of shimmery tights, you'll be basically satisfied.>~Seamless~

--I'm definitely returning them.  I didn't even have to put them on.  Just by extending my arm through one of the legs, I could see that they are simply too sheer.  They'll probably end up looking like semi-opaque Lycra pantyhose.  Fortunately they do have a 30 day return policy.
