Personally I believe they are designed by women or gay man-haters. Anyway, what I did was this. I just cut the strap off at the narrowest part of the lower end, found an elastic about as wide, and reconnected the two ends with the elastic. VOILA!! I have never wore a more comfortable, decent dance belt!! So what if the elastic disappears into your butt, the difference if comfort and mobility is just fantastic! Somebody could make A LOT of money making dancebelts like these! And if you do it yourself, it makes for a great rainy day homecraft!! Smirking Plie J.S. Answers to this message:
