When I was 5 (still living in Wales!), my mother took me and a couple of friends to a ballet performance. Mum was a friend of the ballet school's director and wanted to show her support. I was (don't laugh) wearing a little frilly pink dress and tights, and pink maryjanes. Mum sent me and the other girls to our seats while mum was chatting away wit the director. On the way back to the auditorium, I bumped into a reeeeally CUTE little girl wearing pink tights and a black leotard. My calf brushed against hers and I got a little tingle. We shrugged it off, but that night stood out forever because the next morning I asked mum if I could start taking ballet. She nevew knew my real reasoning behind it...;)

P.S. Hey D! Regarding that Duran Duran tune, I originally heard it at a rave a couple years back as a trance-style cover by a group called Aurora, so I dunno what album it's on.
