I am the only guy in a class with about 15 women of varying ages. The women in the class quite honestly did not care one way or the other. I wear the tights over my swim trunks, which are form-fitting but not brief. The water's temperature is such that the "arousal factor" is not an issue. However, the tights work well and are fun to wear! The last session is this week, and I am hoping that the instructor and some of the ladies might wear leggins or tights as well.I suggest that you look up a book on water exercises by Allegra Kent.
