A bit of OT...

>>>Nothing dance or dancewear-related, but if any of y'all want to see a great movie, you could do no better than the classic Preston Sturges c0medy "The Lady Eve," which showed friday night on TCM. Funny as heck, romantic, and has some rather pointed scenes for those of us who dig stockinged feet. The hose, alas, is sheer-but I really don't mind, myself, because the stems sporting them belong to the hyper sultry Barbara Stanwyck, who puts poor Henry Fonda through the wringer before...well, ya gotta see it. Two favorite lines, both from Ms. Stanwyck, oughta give an idea of what you're in for. When she lands Fonda for the first time (like I said, you gotta see it,) she warns him as she embraces him: "You know what they say, a moonlit deck is a woman's business office..." Later, when she feels a bit differently toward her paramour, she explains: "I need him like the axe needs the turkey..." Just a totally awesome movie. See it with a girl you're into, if she doesn't respond to this, you don't want any part of her!
