I believe that the good thing about just being yourself is that when you find that special someone, you'll be loved for who you really are. If fate dictates that you don't cross paths with that someone, then you've still been true to yourself! In my late teens, I had a lonely, painful "dry spell" of several years, followed by a few years of short, dead-end relationships. I was sure I was destined to be alone forever. Then I met Marie, and though I was too cynical at the time to admit it, it WAS love at first sight. We've been happily together now for over 20 years, and if anything, SHE inspires ME to "push the envelope". Also, if you or anyone else interpreted my post's title (you were expecting...?) as being support for the "glaring guy", please rest assured that is NOT the case! It takes lots of guts to buck societal norms! I was just saying that you can't expect everyone on earth to be accepting of your personal lifestyle choices. After all, there are literally millions of people on this earth that are utterly convinced that you- Bella- are absolutely going to burn in hell because you go out in public without covering up from your head to your ankles!
