It wasn't awful, but it was more of a "few people sitting around talking" thing, and Dea and I were NOT in the mood for that, if'n ye git me. Somebody's parents were there, 'nuff said? Well, we made up for it by gerschplitting toot suite and having mad, tights-clad sex. The ride home was long, and mostly on surface streets, but I decided to just strip to my tights and t-shirt and ride home Depon-style. The t-shirt was black, and the tights white, which I was fairly glad of when the couple in the car next to us at (TWO red lights in a row,) looked over to see me with my feet on the dash, smoothing out some wrinkles. Cute latino couple, girl driving, eyes and mouth opened wide when she realized. Awesome. Happy New Year!>>>Watching the Rose Parade, which at one point featured a group of young women in skin-tight zippered american-flag unitards standing on the backs of horses. Really liked Dea's reaction...>>>Bought the ring! Let me tell you, I never really "got" the whole jewelry deal, so I was a heady blend of excited and apprehensive when the shopping began. I figured we'd be auditioning talent for a week or even two, but Dea found a ring she loved that first night, and boom! I'd done it! And guys, when I saw the look on Dea's face when she saw her ring for the first time, I instantly understood why I was buying it.
