>I disagree.  I've also been dancing for ages and I appreciate the fact that some men like ballerinas for what they are, i.e. ballerinas, and like the fact that, yes, we dress like ballerinas.  I feel good about my body and I know I look great in tights - if that turns men on, what's wrong with that??

Nothing at all. Some men just have the 'fetish' of being with a ballet dancer. That turns off some women for some reason, partly I think because they think of it as a pure art form, or sport. Other males appreciate it as an art form as well. But it's typically harmless if the man is mildly intelligent and accomplished. For the woman involved, she will often find a very loving, articulate, and loyal friend/lover. Willing to give his all to please.

Men however, need to be warned... if you are overweight, unkempt, or aren't very well able to support your desires - then what would a ballerina see in you? Decide to  change yourself before expecting any woman to change you. They don't want a baby... they first look for good friends, then become interested in the potential of being partners.

Take it from someone who knows... and has the most wonderful girlfriend in the world. (She even lets me wear ballet slippers every day.=)
