The full sole flats have ballet slipper style vamps with the draw string. The shoes have soft leather insoles and full leather soles (soles go fromthe back of the heel to the tip of the toe) and leather heels.  The flatseasily form a full arch as if I am wearing pleated ballets but they arefinished as flats that I can wear anywhere.

The ballet slippers that I have sewn are made like pleated ballet shoesexcept they have suede leather insoles and thick suede leather outsoles.I have also purchased split sole ballets sewn with rubber heel and solepads like the kind of rubber that you find on canvas tennis oxfords. Iprefer the ballet slippers at work because they are well worn and veryflexible. I wear the flats alot as street shoes. www.justplainflats.com

>>>I was wondering if anyone ever wears their slippers outside (meaning outdoors)of class.  I had heard of (and seen) some others doing this, and had found it odd.  I mean, there's not a lot of support there after all.  Anyway, I have an old canvas pair that I wear around (inside) the house and yesterday I had them on when I went outside to my car to get something.  Walking across the parking lot was tough -- felt every stone.  Don't think it's anything I'll be doing on a regular basis but it got me to wondering if others do it from time to time.  Thanks!>>I wear black ballets everyday at work and outside in nice weather.  I buy my>>shoes sewn by Just Plain Flats. I was thinking of getting them but you seem to like your pleated ballet the best and would like to know more about them before I place an order. Email: happibday@hotmail.com   Thanks
