I don't allow the women in my classes to wear pantyhose. I insist that they wear ballet pink Capezio ballet tights with a black leotard. Pantyhose are too sheer, run too easily and don't provide the freedom of movement that ballet tights allow. I strongly feel that wearing the tradtional attire to a ballet class, helps the students look, and feel more like dancers, and not like pepole who've just walked in off the street. So my advise is leave the pantyhose home, and bring ballet tights to a ballet class!!!
