Did you mean you had to pay a lott for that? >Yes!! I had to bribe my way into the girls pointe class and be allowed to dress in the same pink tights and black leotard as the ballerinas wear. Oh I had a lot of resentment, name calling and snickering, but once I showed them that I was serious about learning pointe, I gained a lot of acceptance. I am now so much a part of the class that the teacher and ballerinas don't even notice that I'm a guy anymore, I'm just one of the dancers!!
