However, ballet can be deeply discouraging even withthe kindest, most solicitous teachers, because it's so damneddifficult. Just persevere & don't let it get to you. Yourfellow students will NOT be laughing at you; they all werebeginners once, too. Take heart & don't give up. Yes, there are plenty of non-fetishists here, & I'm one of them...but, being on the other side of the Atlantic, I can't recom-mend a school. In your shoes, I'd shop around.
