Like the others say DON'T get them saoking wet. However you can try repainting them (esp. if you want a new funky color) Stuff the box of your pointe shoe (make sure it is packed in tight) and then use fabric paint (whatever color) however don't soak the shoe (esp the boxes) Then just let that dry.... The only problem I find with this is finding ribbons to match.I was lucky enough to find "pointe shoe make-up" It's from a company called Kryolan. It's called aquacolor... The color TV white (it's really pink don't worry) matched up with a lot of pointe shoes. I found it at Discount Dance Supply...
