>I am a bit confused by your post.  At first you mention Ballet but end up with hip-hop.  I can only help with ballet.  The problem for adults if always to find a teacher who will take you seriously. There is no reason why you can't fulfill your dream.  There are several adult summer intensives available.  If you e-mail me at ORZAK@aol.com I will give you the list - it's quite lengthy.  Basheva>>>In attempt not to sound like another Julia Stiles movie, >>   I'm 21, female, and I've always wanted to dance professional>>ballet.  I've danced a total of 11 or 12 years, and reached a>>pre-professional level. Hey E, forget what people have to say about your dancing.  I twenty and I began dancing again (after 8 years) about 2 months ago.  By the grace of God I've been blessed to find a few instructors with enough vision to see what I can become with several years of training.  The reality however is that there are those who see me as a lost cause too.  You cannot rely on the oppinions of others.  You have to believe for yourself first or you can do nothing.  Ballet is all about showing the goods.  Work hard wherever you find yourself dance and you will build-up the goods to prove people wrong...
