If you are going to take ballet, one of the first things you need to rid yourself of is the attitude that there is something wrong with being a male dancer.  Why be embarrassed just because you have an interest that is different from your teammates?  Do you laugh at them when they tell you about their interest in birdwatching, or do you guys just go around scratching, grunting, and talking about the big engine in your new car?

_____________________________________________________________________________>Hi,>Thank you all for your responses.  I'm sure your right and that will be one of my challenges, to find a class or teacher.  It sure is fun though.  My sport?  Well, nothing mainstream and I'm not famous.  I guess I have hangups saying much on the internet as there is a real macho attitude in what I'm involved in.  I must say though that all the attributes of ballet transcend directly to my sport.  I still can't believe that I enjoy the movement etc... from ballet so much .... sure is fun!>Brian
