I am a straight guy so you can imagine that it may be more difficult to get started. Thankfully, my girlfriend was a ballerina and encouraged me. Obviously, wear the correct clothing, nobody takes any notice and tales of men being self conscious in tights are plain stupid. For girls it is obviously not an issue.
