well,I can't give you any advicebut I can give you some support!

I am 42, one year in ballet classes and being asked to take part in a performance, too !!! :)))First said "no". Then got excited as never. Now slightly concerned about all those people in naudience who would recognize me, but pretty much sure I will do it !

Go for it! You live only once. And if ANYONE makes any negative comment,look them straight in the eye and ask them what courageous did they do lately :))
