NOT TRUE! This girl CAN have natural talent and strength. But I would also really do research and check her out myself (you being the stepmom i mean). she should have no trouble remembering combos, hold a releve in all positions and in passes on bothe legs for at least 8-10 seconds (no wobbleing), can do a clean single pirrouette in center, and have well developed muscles. knees shud be straight, back and abdonmenal taught and strong, ankles flexible but strong. she should always properly point her foot and not have any problems like rolling to aither side the ball of her foot. if she cannot do all this, (even one of these) then she is NOT ready for pointe and should be changing studios asap!            *jen
