Bill, absolutely, go for it!

Why don't you try studying, for starters, with Don Paradise.  He is older than you, and still he's dancing every day.  He is also an excellent and highly accomplished dancer, he danced with some very famous companies.  His classes are small and you will get the personal attention you need.

To download schedule in PDF format, Go to:http://www.balletacademyeast.com/download.asp?BGC=666666&sid=3&CatId=4&d_type=s_pdf

and more generally:http://www.balletacademyeast.com

Look for "open adult classes".  Mr. Paradise teaches a "Basic Beginner Ballet:  Tue 9:15 AM  Thr 9:15 AM

If that time doesn't work for you, maybe see about his Beginner class:  Mon 7pm  Thr 7pmLast time I went, I was the only student!

Ballet Academy East1651 Third Ave. (at 93d St)New York, NY   10128212-410-9140

Best of luck, and enjoy dancing!
