There is nothing worse than being a frustrated ballet dancer and wishing you could take ballet lessons.As a child and teenager I wanted to take ballet classes but ballet was something only girls did where I lived and only girls and women wore tights!! I secretly bought tights and ballet slippers and a leotard and fanatsised about doing ballet.When I finally got the chance to take ballet classes in my 20's it felt wonderful standing at the barre in my black tights.Yes it was tough but the females in the class were supportive and never amde any silly comments about my tights.For many women I think a man in tights come across as sensitive and in touch with his feminine side.
