I've NEVER done any ballet in my life, but I have done modern dance on and off since I was 10, i've been part of a dance group and done physical theatre. I also go to the gym 3-4 times a week, and am pretty flexible. So i'm a fit person. Am I too old to be really good at ballet though? (i.e do it professionally??) any answers welcome, Thanks! Go to Pineapple Sudios in Covent Garden or Danceworks - They have a beginners class on Tues and Wed evening.At 46 I am living proof ot is not too late ! THe class is fun and you work hard.Everyone starts from the beginning and every respects each others commitment - All you need to do is belive in yourself - have some courage and turn up.Next Tuesday there is a good class at Danceworks - see Google for details.
