>>You can wear a thong or full-bottomed leotard, whatever your preference is there.  A dancebelt is generally required, but especially if you wear leotard over tights, it's not quite so necessary.  The most important thing defining a men's vs. woman's leotard, in my opinion, is the neckline.  Leotards with shelf bras, pinch fronts, etc. meant to accomodate and display breasts just don't look good on guys.  Reflexions and Bal-Togs make leotards with simple necklines and no bras.>>>what sort of leotard? are there special guy's leotards or should I wear a regular one? Doesn't that ride up with your dancebelt? Wearing tights is already one big step for me, I was more thinking about a t-shirt on top. Wha's the advantage of a leotard here? >> No advantage.. A plain white tee shirt and black tights would be most suitable.>Yes keep it simple dance belt ,black tights ,white tee shirt. Then when you are more confident move onto coloured tights and leotards. good luck .William.
