For me it sounds as an absurd!I can advice you only one thing - find new, professional teacher instead of dilettante. If your teacher even doesn't know, what to wear in class, I'm sureshe knows nothing about ballet and dance! In my country dancers can wear T-shirts, trousers and tights of any color (not pink!!!) - blue, green, red ets.(if you think, this color and pattern suits you), except students in professional Ballet Academies during their classes (but not rehearsals). So, it's up to you to deside, but teacher must see lines of your body and bulky clothes better to wear only for getting warm, not during all the class. Answers to this message:
