Some stretches to help you do splits: lunges. stretch out both legs, everyday or close to everday before going into a split. first start with the leg of your choice with the back leg on the ground and front knee bent to touch your nose.The back leg, if you feel comfortable, can come off the ground to hold the back leg straight.Hold this strectch for "10 Mississippi" counts and then pull your front leg straight so to be in a sitting posistion almost, only your butt not on the floor. When doing this strecth try to touch your nose to your knee while your front leg is straight, hold this for "10 Mississippi" counts,and go into your split. As far down as you can until you've got it. Repeat this on the other leg. By doing these strecthces everyday, it will help you get your split down to the ground.
