Dancers (as you probably know already, otherwise you wouldn't haveasked here) don't wear ordinary athletic supporters. A dance beltis supposed to be worn with the genitals pointing upward--partlyfor protection against injury and partly because an uninterruptedline from the feet to the perineum looks better. It doesn't soundto me as if this is what you'd want for your patients. If in doubt,I recommend you go to a dancewear store or an on-line store & justbuy one for evaluation. They aren't expensive, & direct examinationwill tell you more than anyone here can.
