I can understand balletboy's explanation about being warm and comfortable in class. But there is also the issue of being wet which I have problems with. Cotton/lycra materials will hold in the moisture longer than nylon/lycra fabrics. I like BalTogs cotton/lycra, but as far as comfort goes, NOTHING beats the M.Stevens milliskin fabric. It is as close as you'll get to wearing nothing at all. It is very thin, not overly shiny and is very comfortable.
I would recommend their tights and unitards to any danseur, since they seem to be cut more for men, however, their bodysuits are too short in the torso, and have a terrible seat.
Just my two cents worth. Thanks [/i]
