I didn't say to wear white shoes with footed black tights, and I didn't say wear black tights, white slippers with street socks!

When wearing white slippers with white socks, you need a special type of sock.

The SFDanseur I used to know had impressive ballet experience.  Grab the books on the Russian schools, look at pictures of the men in training.  They start in dark tights and black slippers, then move to dark tights with white over-the-calf stockings and white slippers.  RAD is the same way.

And I'm talking about what is appropriate for training.  I hope you realize that anybody who has danced with a world class company is at that stage that he can wear whatever pleases him to company classes and rehersals.  When was the last time you attended a rehersal of a world class company?

So I'm really thinking that you are not the SFDanseur I had corresponded with, and that maybe we have another imposter using his name!
