They are a "normal" nylon/spandex.M.Stevens dance belts are Millskin and not too confining. Also, try one size bigger than what other dancers and sellers recommend for performing.Bal-Togs and Capezeo MENS' leotards similarly provide support and keep things out of the way without the constriction and "display" or "presentation" function of a typical dance belt.Yes, Capezio's (and most others') nylon tights tend to wear and bag at the knees and ankles, but all dancewear should be line- or flat-dried (and, preferably hand-washed).
