But wearing a unitard alone, any break in the skintight line is obvious. -Your dance belt's waistband stands out. -Some dance belt/unitard combinations even show details of the dance belt's stitching if someone is playing close enough attention. Wearing a sash could be a valid solution if it is appropriate to your class (could look too much like a random costume part out of context). Alternatively, you could wear a T-shirt over the top, (which is kind of redundant and contrary to the primary reason to wear a unitard instead of tights). Or you could just wear the unitard solo and allow your classmates to see your dance belt waistband.
