Seasonal dancewear

My Tuesday night class takes place in a building without A/C.  When I was getting changed into my street clothes after class, my t-shirt was sopping, and I had trouble peeling off my tights because they were so sweaty.

This is all leading up to a couple of sets of questions that can be answered separately, if you care to:

(1)  Is there any kind of t-shirt that wicks moisture away from the body?  The standard cotton undershirt doesn't foot the bill.  But a lycra tee would, I imagine, hold the heat in even more efficiently than cotton, adding to my general feeling of overheating.  But does a lycra tee really insulate, like I imagine it would?

(2)  Is there a such a thing as summer-weight tights?  I generally find that the Bal-Togs cotton/lycra tights are heavier; e.g., hotter, than M. Stevens Milliskin.  But is there something even lighter than M. Stevens?  My other criterion is that the tights be of a fabric or blend that is opaque.
