Women's tights are thinner than men's tights. They are designed to be worn under leotards so they can be more see-thru than men's. Most also have a cotton panel in the crotch which would be visible when worn without a covering leotard. Baltogs boy's tights are available from Rivers Edge dancewear (riversedgedancewear.com)and other sources. There is no need for for this young dancer to compromise by wearing cross-gendered tights.
