Don't worry so much about your weight.  I'm a dancer and I weigh about 205, and am quite comfortable at this weight.  I am starting a Ballet Company nextyear and one of my goals is to break down every stereotype and stupid rulethat has existed for years and has been the downfall of many talented dancers.Those who join my company, on purpose, will be very diverse.  Contact me at markp_13601@yahoo.com if you want to talk.

>Thanks Bob, you sound really nice.  But if someone gains too much weight would your company keep them on.  If you were paired with a heavy girl you had to lift up a lot, would you be OK with that.  I was all set to accept what they were saying, then you say it's really not that way.  It sort of makes since what they are saying, like being 5'6" tall and wanting to play professional basket ball.  It's not going to happen.  I never see heavy dancers in a professional production.  Maybe it's not the nicest thing, but is it reality.  I don't really have a weight problem.  I was just suprised by it all.  I don't mean to sound like I'm accusing you of not being honest.  I just want to know the truth.  My boyfreind has a freind that is on the wrestling team.  And they publicly say all this stuff about counsling the boys to eat a heathy diet and not try to "cut weight."  A while back about three college wreslers died cutting weight so they're real sensitive about that issue now.  I ask that guy if they really tell them not cut weight and eat right.  He flat said, "No, they say lose the weight."  You sound like you are very established as a dancer.  I just want to know what's real, not what they say.  If it's not that way, I will leave that place.  But if it's a choice between being at a place that is honest with you and a place were they just tell you what you want to hear, then I like knowing wear I stand.  Sorry to go on and on.  It's important for me to know.
