You'll fit in better if you do. Wear tights- is just the right thing to do! I wore jazz pants the first classes out of some feelings of insecurity, and my instructor told me to wear tights because she can't see my movements ... there's a reason for wearing tights and it's not to be an exhibitionist ... hope this helps ...
