White tights are just not as opaque as they need to be. Tights made from a Cotton/Lycra blend are better than the "Milliskin" material. Both are available from M Stevens. As you point out, wearing 2 pairs is no fun. Too hot, too stiff, too hard to keep from wrinkling. If your dark hair shows through a single pair, waxing sounds like a good option. Be sure to wear a tan dance belt, because a white one will really show under white tights. >I'm wearing white tights in my company's upcoming show. I've had to wear white tights in the past, which I have no problem with, except for the fact that they're so sheer. I wear M Stevens which I think are the best, but in previous experiences I've worn two pairs so they're not so clear. It's really uncomfortable and I'd like to switch to wearing just one pair. The dilema is that I have relatively dark hair on my legs and butt. I was thinking about waxing, but I don't know how practical that is.
