For Jan

>Hi! I'd love to meet A Professional ballerina and/or dance students as well. I wish to oneday perform professionally and would love to know what the life of a ballerina is like! you can email me at missjan@danceart.net >Thanks!

I believe this note I am writing is going to a missjan, and she wants yo know what the life of a ballerina is like. All I can say is I am not a dancer, but I exercise heartily everyday, and that includes "real" stretching. That is why I checked out this web site, to see if I may get any advice on stretching from a dancer. Without proper and consistent stretching, I would be unable to tie my shoes.

What I can say about persistent exercise is don't live in a world of denial. Just because you worked out for two hours, does not mean you have advanced physically. I have seen people at the gym everyday for years, and they have not advanced physically one iota, you can measure it by the sadness in thier eyes and lack of self esteem.

Not wanting to brag, but one with a disability, I can't complain. I am writing to ask for more or different stretching techniques, and also mental startegies for self improvement.

Thank you!John
