>The reason I ask, where I bought mine was a Dance emporium for Men & Women. But I noticed that there were different types of tights, but never asked what was the accepted norm. This is just a question I am asking to you all; more for MY INFO.
>Thanks for any feedback.
Because of my height - nearly 6'5" - my choices are limited and revolve around the essential question (to me) of fit; secondarily of comfort. I know Capezio and Danskin tights are popular, and Capezio does make an XXL tight, but the fabric both manufacturers use is nylon - too sheer, to my taste, and scratchy, to boot. Next, I tried the Bal-Tog's cotton-lycra tight, which, though a bit too short, stretched nicely with time and use and is extremely comfortable. Although I have a footed Bal-Tog unitard, I find getting into it a bit difficult (the men's "dressing room" at the studio I attend is a toilet, so there ain't much room to maneuver). Now, I'm using M. Stevens tights. These are long, fit very well and are comfortable. I'm not crazy over the sheen, but it's a relatively minor consideration.
