The best thing about a performance, for me, is the danseur who can make the performance "real" and moving. I'm not a critic who wants to see technical perfection. I love ballet for the message the danseur brings to me.<p>The intellectual masturbation of the critic is expected, but the audience needs to be moved by the dance.
