The simple fact of the matter is that masculine men, gay and straight, take ballet and love it. We wear tights because they are functional. I've tried ballet movements in cotton-poplin khakis, from Eddie Bauer, and it just doesn't work!<p>The bottom line is that there are guys who know the benefits of ballet. The work, like any other work, is not masculine or feminine! Ballet is work!<p>Thinking of anything as masculine or feminine is politically incorrect nowadays!<p>Without the political correctness, how can any activity be thought of as masculine or feminine? Movement is movement! We all do it, male or female.<p>So if Mike C. has some hang-ups about masculine-feminine....piss on him. Humans have to enjoy what the human body can do.
