At first I tried the traditional way of trying pointe shoes (The female way), but after about a month of classes, I switched to what was comfortable for me...more like elastic bands than ties.<p>The truth is that after about six months I was wondering what I was doing in pointe shoes. I had no intentions of joining the Trocks!
