>Thanks guys. I'm thinking seriously about taking ballet classes but what should I wear if i do? For gym it's usually T-shirt,shorts and socks. But after a while I get rid of the T-shirt and socks and just train in a pair of shorts. What should I buy for ballet? I really don't like the idea of tights, I just wouldn't like the feel of something that close fitting on my legs.<

What are you asking? Obviously you are aware that tights and a T-shirt are traditional male ballet clothes, but you reject the concept of wearing them. Are you asking our permission to take your shirt off? If you are serious about taking ballet, get serious about wearing appropriate clothes. Ballet students wear tights because they are the most functional for the task. A ballet studio is not the gym, so you better be prepared to leave your shirt on. Get over your fear of tights if you really plan to start dancing.
